Vikash Kandola is a new youth player who played for the Bengaluru Bulls team in the Pro Kabaddi League Season 9. He is a four-time Indian Railways representative and a gold medalist. He was part of the Indian national team in the international tournament in Nepal.

Vikash Kandola is only 24 years old. He is from Haryana State. His date of birth is April 2, 1998 in Haryana. He hails from the city of Jind, which is the capital of kabaddi. Only Kabaddi League has office in Jind. Vikash Kandola has a normal family. In his family, he has a mother, father, brother and sister.

Vikas Kandola’s Life

Vikas was born in Jind district of Haryana on April 2, 1998. He was born in a village with a passion for the game of Kabaddi and started playing the game at the age of 9. At first, he played the game in his spare time and learned martial arts in a short period of time.

Soon, he surprised everyone with his attacking skills, coach Dharamraj Kandola encouraged him to step up his training for the game. He received his BA from Rajiv Gandhi College, Uchana. Training for the game for many years, he appeared in international school and junior tournaments as well as national college tournaments.

He came under national recognition when he represented Haryana state to the people of the country. In 2016, he was bought by Dabang Delhi for the fourth edition of PKL.

Vikas Kandola started his VIVO PKL with Dabang Delhi in the fourth season. Although he did not have a dream start of his PKL career and that was also shown well by his statistics. In the four matches he played during that time for Dabang Delhi, he could only score 5 attacking points. He made a total of 17 attacks to collect the points. There is also no effective point and his average time on the mat is also low.

This was a boom time for Kandola as his fortunes changed when he moved to Haryana Steelers. In nine games played for the Steelers that season, he managed to collect 61 tackles. All his numbers have increased from last season to this season, such as the number of attacks he leads and his average time on the mat, etc. It was that season that earned him a lot of respect in the league.

In Season 6

After his improved performance in Season 5, he hasn’t looked back this season. He played 22 games this season and made 348 Raids with a total of 183 Raid Points. His average time on the mat has increased to 73.54% in this edition. Apart from that, he went up to an effective 102 which made him one of the league players at that time.

The seventh season

Its numbers have been increasing over the years as the story continues here. During this season, he has played 11 games so far with all his numbers improving. He led 215 Raids in those 11 games where he scored 109 points. He already has 88 points to his credit. His average time on the mat has increased by over 75%.

He is also ranked sixth in the list of successful entrepreneurs in this competition so far. Also, with many games left in this series, it has a good chance of finishing in the top 5 of the 2019 list.

In 9 auctions, he broke Pradeep Narwal’s record as the most expensive player and fetched Rs 1.70 crore, surpassing Pardeep’s record of Rs 1.65 crore. He was bought by Bengaluru bulls for a very high price.

Vikas was bought by Dabang Delhi in the 4th season of PKL but he was unlucky to show his performance and he was selected in 7 men team for only 4 games and got 3 attacking points.
He was released in the 5th season and signed with Haryana Steelers for his ability to score big in the team for 2 more seasons. In his first season with the Steelers, he surprised everyone with his offensive skills by scoring 58 points in just 9 games.
He had a similar performance in the 6th PKL season 172 points in 22 games with 6 Super 10s and 5 Super Raids. In the seventh edition, he achieved his personal best score of 190 points in 20 games with an astonishing 6 Super Raids and 11 Super 10s.

Records and achievements of Vikash Kandola

Vikas Kandola is the player with the most points for Haryana Steelers in VIVO PKL 2018. He finished this season with a total of 177 points to his name. Vikas is also the third most successful player in terms of earnings.

He picked up 51 points in Pro Kabaddi League Season 6. Kandola is also among the most successful PKL raiders this season in terms of Super Raids. He is in sixth place with five Super Raid in the 2018 league.
