Anjum Chopra’s love affair with cricket started when she was just 9 years old. After representing the varsity team, she was immediately included in the Delhi U-15 team and after that, she never looked back. She made her international debut at the age of 17 against the New Zealand women’s cricket team in 1995.
Chopra is an all-rounder whose strength is finding holes and good touch. On the tour of England in 1999 she scored a brilliant cent and for more than a decade was the Indian women’s captain.
