However, in the next game, Jemimah responded with a strong 42 against Vadodara. On January 24, 2019, Jemimah scored her first half-century, an unbeaten 81 runs, against Australia. Jemimah scored two more half-centuries – 55 against South Africa and 69 against the West Indians. Both arrived within a month.

In a total of 16 innings, Rodrigues scored 372 runs at an average of 24.80 and a strike rate of 73.80.

Jemimah Rodrigues made her T20 World Championship debut at the age of 18. In her first match, Jemimah scored 59 against New Zealand women. In the final race, Jemimah scored 93 points.
