Rowlin signed for France’s youth team at the age of fourteen. He moved to Velsao Pale after studying in France for a year. After spending a few seasons there, he signed for Sporting Clube de Goa in 2009.
Soon after his loan to Margao SC he joined the Flaming Oranje side. Under Joaquim Crasto, Rowllin supported Margao SC to win the second division of Goa.

After returning from Margao SC, Borges became the backbone of Sporting’s midfield for the next few years.
He made his I-League debut at the end of 2011 and confirmed his place in the roster the following year. In the next four editions of the I-League, Rowllin made 58 appearances and was always active in the outfield.
Rowllin appeared for Northeast United in the 2016 Indian Super League and was a key player in the team. He played 13 games for the Highlanders and finished with a total of 654 assists. This includes 50.31 average passes per game and he has a pass percentage of 81.34%, which shows his importance in the midfield. He was loaned to East Bengal to play in the 2016-17 I-League and helped Kolkata Knight Riders reach the top three in the league.
Rowllin continued to feature for Northeast United in the current Indian Super League season and appeared in 12 games for the country’s northeast region. He dug more than 300 minutes for India during the 2018 FIFA Word Cup Coung Coung.
