Mishra is an aggressive right-handed batsman and can prove to be a tail-ender when called upon. An accurate ball player, he depends on the flight of the ball and the big broken leg, which is his product delivery.

Amit Mishra made his Test debut against Australia in the second Test at Mohali when reigning batsman and number one pick Anil Kumble was injured. With his conversion, he already has 74 wickets from 21 Test matches at an average of 35.10. Mishra last played in 2011 in white when India lost 0-4 in England.
Amit Mishra: ODI Carrer
Mishra was included in the Indian squad for the Test against the West Indies in 2002 but was not selected in the starting XI. He made his One Day International (ODI) debut against South Africa in 2003 for the TVS Cup. For your information, he was instrumental for India in the ODI campaign, picking up 64 wickets in 36 matches at an average of 23.60.
His saving in the blue jersey is 4.72. In 2013, he managed to get the most wickets by any bowler in a five-game series against minnows Zimbabwe.
