Who is Deepak Chahar
Deepak Chahar is an Indian national cricketer. He is also known as Deepak Lokendrasingh Chahar. He is a fast bowling right hand batsman and bowling All Rounder.
He plays for Rajasthan in Domestic Cricket and Chennai Super Kings in Indian Premier League. He became the first Indian men’s cricketer to score a hat-trick in a Twenty20 International (T20I) match.
Biography
He was born on August 07, 1992 in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, India and is 30 years old (in 2022). His father Lokendra Singh Chahar is retired from the Air Force and his mother Pushpa Chahar is a wife. His Brother’s name is Rahul Chahar (Cricketer), and he has an elder sibling Malti Chahar, Malti Chahar, a model, actress and Miss India 2014 runner-up.

Domestic Carrer
When an 18 year old catches 8 wickets on his debut, one is expected to attract attention. Indeed, all eyes were on the young Deepak who started his career in Rajasthan in Ranji with a bang. Chahar’s great bowling earned him a youth contract with Rajasthan Royals. In October 2016, he worked with international cricket coaches Ian Pont and Catherine Dalton in Jaipur as part of the Rajasthan Cricket Development Camp. This is where it made a big difference.

International Carrer
May 2018 was an unforgettable month for Deepak Chahar. It was this month that he was named in India’s Twenty20 International (T20I) squad for the series against England. He made his T20I debut for India on July 8, 2018. He also made his One Day International (ODI) debut against Afghanistan in September of the same year in the Asia Cup.

IPL Career

Major achievements
Deepak scored 8/10 in the first match of the 2010-11 Ranji Trophy season against Hyderabad and Jaipur. Chahar’s great bowling quickly earned him a youth contract with Rajasthan Royals. On July 8, 2018, he made his T20I debut for India. In his first match in England, he dismissed Jason Roy. He is also the second batsman after Siddharth Kaul to make his debut on this UK tour.
In January 2018, he was bought by Chennai Super Kings in the 2018 IPL auction. Deepak made his One Day International (ODI) debut for India against Afghanistan in the 2018 Asia Cup on September 25, 2018.
In October 2018, he was named in the India B team for the 2018–19 Deodhar Trophy. He was selected in the T20 squad for India against West Indies in July 2019. He played against West Indies in the last match of the series and won the man of the match for 3/4 wickets on August 3, 2019.
