Tim David is an international cricketer born in Singapore who played for the Singapore national team. His father, Rod David, was an Australian-born cricketer and engineer who moved to Singapore for work. Tim’s parents moved back to Australia when Tim was two and grew up in Perth.

David is one of the brightest talents in T20 cricketer who has taken on different leagues across the world including Big Bash League (BB), Caribbean Premier League (CPL) and Pakistan Super League (PSL). Last year, he became the first Singapore player to play in the Indian Premier League (IPL) when he represented Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). Before the second half of the tournament in the United Arab Emirates, he was selected to replace Finn Allen.

His time in the IPL was not memorable as he played only one match for the Virat Kohli-managed team and scored only three points. However, MI’s upcoming offer is not a surprise as David has recently grown to become the closest of the series.

Indeed, in the current edition of the PSL, he has been in good form for the Multan Sultans. David scored 221 runs in 7 matches at an exceptional average with a strike rate of 55.25 and 206.54. In last year’s CPL, the ST Lucia Kings hitter was the third highest run-scorer with 282 runs in 12 matches at an impressive 146.11.

David also showed his skills at the Australian stage in the BBL. Over the years, he played 41 games in the league and scored 606 runs with a strikeout rate of over 150. He also represented the Singapore national cricket team 14 times.

David has made a name for himself as one of the best and hardest hitters. He is also an outgoing person who can fill in a few things. Tim David started playing white football with the Singapore national team. He made his debut in July 2019 for Singapore. Also, he was selected for the T20 squad of the Australian Cricket team for the 2022 T20 World Cup. He will play in the series against India from September 2022.
