Subrata Pal is a famous actor who was born in 1986 in Sodepur, West Bengal, India. He currently plays as a goalkeeper for East Bengal on loan in the Indian Super League. He is the top scorer and is the all-time leading scorer of the Indian team. At the age of 18, he sang for Mohun Bagan in 2004.

Subrata Pal’s Early life

Subrata Pal was born on December 24, 1986 in Sodepur, West Bengal, India. Subrata Pal divorced Debasmita Mukherjee Pal in 2012. About his hometown, Pal is an Indian footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for East Bengal on loan in the Indian Super League. Pal’s personality has a great personality. His height is 1.85 m (6 ft 1 in) to consider his body. His weight is 76 kilograms. His smiling face and charming personality helped him to attract the attention of all the viewers.

In 2007, East Bengal signed Subrata. At the age of 18, Subrata was signed by Mohun Bagan. In the team in Kolkata, Pal made a name for himself and appeared in 31 matches representing the team. In 2009 he signed for Pune and in 2012 Pal moved to Prayag United. Pal also played in the Indian Super League for Mumbai City FC and transferred to Jamshedpur for the 2017-18 season.

Subrata Pal is a famous Indian footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for the Super League (ISL) team Hyderabad FC. He graduated from Tata Football Academy. In 2004, he started his professional career with Mohun Bagan. Subrata has played just one game in three years at Mohun Bagan. In 2007, Subrata was signed by local rivals Mohun Bagan, East Bengal. He was an important player for the team in the next 2 years. He was considered as the best goalkeeper in the I-League in 2007 due to his brilliant stopping ability. Subrata also helped East Bengal win the 2007 Federation Cup. As a result, East Bengal competed in the 2008 AFC Cup. He made 31 appearances for the Kolkata-based club in two seasons.

Subrata joined Pune FC in June 2009. He played 40 times for the club in 3 seasons and even scored 1 goal. In between his first season with Pune FC, Subrata went on trial with Canadian MLS side Vancouver Whitecaps FC. However, it was not a successful experiment for Subrata. After 3 seasons, Subrata left Pune FC for Prayag United appearing 15 times in the 2012-13 season. Due to the poor end of Subrata’s season, he was loaned to Rangdajied United where he played 6 times.

In early 2014, Danish Superliga side FC Vestsjælland confirmed that they had signed Subrata Pal. In the process, Subrata became the fourth Indian footballer to play overseas at the professional level, the second Indian footballer to join a top European team and the first Indian goalkeeper to play overseas . Although he was signed as part of the squad, there was no indication for the first team that he only appeared in the home team.


At the start of the ISL, Subrata was drafted by Mumbai City FC. He was the club’s top scorer until 2015, making 26 appearances. He was loaned to Salgaocar FC in 2015 where he appeared 15 times for the Goa team. Subrata played 2016 ISL season with NorthEast United FC after which he joined DSK Shivajians where he played 24 times.
In July 2017, Jamshedpur FC selected Subrata in the 2017 ISL Draft for the 2017–18 ISL season. Subrata won the ISL Golden Glove award. He appeared 43 times for the club of Jharkhand. On August 1, 2020, he joined Hyderabad FC on a free transfer.
